Labor

We confidently stand behind our services by including the following warranties on all new fence installations: You are not required to register your fence with us in order to be eligible for any labor warranty.

• Our vinyl fence installations are covered by a 4-year warranty, which covers defects in workmanship.
• All vinyl gates, gate closures, and locking mechanisms are covered by a 1-year warranty after the date of installation.
• Our wood, chain-link, and aluminum fence installations are covered by a 1-year warranty, which covers defects in workmanship.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of God, weather, incidental damage by humans or pets, impact, or other conditions beyond our control.
• You will void your warranty if you make any structural changes or alterations to your fence after installation.
• Please note that customer failure to pay in full in accordance with terms contractually agreed upon voids all warranty coverage.

Material

Michigan Fence Solutions partners with leading fence material manufacturers and fabricators who stand behind their products with best-in-class warranty programs. Please refer to the warranty for your specific fence material below or visit the manufacturer's website for more detailed warranty information.

• You must register your fence in order to be eligible for the warranty on certain materials. We can assist you with registration if requested to do so.

Vinyl

Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty that warrants these products against peeling, flaking, splintering, blistering, rotting and corroding – when subject to normal and proper usage. See complete warranty and registration information at our manufacturer’s website, Homeland Vinyl Products.

Aluminum

Ultra Aluminum Fencing and Ultra Privacy products carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials. The Powercoat TM finish on all Ultra fencing also carries a limited lifetime warranty against cracking, peeling, or chipping. Galvanized Chain Link

The product line is warrantied to be free from defects in materials or workmanship and from the development of red rust over five percent (5%) of the surface for a period of twelve (12) years from the date of purchase. Spectra Colored Chain Link

The Spectra Color Chain Link Fence System is free from defects in material or workmanship, including peeling, blistering, and the development of red rust over five percent (5%) of the surface, for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase. Pressure Treated Wood by ALTA Forest Products

Western Red Cedar by ALTA Forest Products

Copperwood

25-Year Limited Warranty that warrants any component of your fence that is damaged by insects or rot will be replaced. See complete warranty and registration information at our vendor’s website.

HOW TO FILE A CLAIM UNDER WARRANTY

Need to file a claim? Just follow the steps below to start the process.

1. Take pictures of the issue.
2. Call us at 586.697.5379
3. If possible, provide the manufacturer name, fence model, year of installation, and gate model and hardware (if applicable).
4. Email pictures to info@myfencesolution.com
5. Once your claim and pictures are reviewed, we will contact you to set up an appointment to either fix your issue or order replacement parts.
